After reading the warning, we at Viva Moto became increasing curious about The Visibly Intricate Navigation Challenge Event, not many events homepages welcome riders with such a warning.
The V.I.N.C.E. challenge is an annual rally run by Big Scale Adventures Limited out of London, England, and is a 2 day map-reading challenge held in the Catalan Pyreneees mountain range. What makes the event unique is that GPS are not allowed, just a dirt-bike, a map, and the riders brain/s.
Riders must ride in a team of 2, to a maximum of 4 people, no single riders allowed. Organizers will match single riders with similar bikes and riding skill levels.
Riders ride for 12 hours a day and travel 200 miles, with 95 per cent of road. This years event takes place September 05 and 06, at Ripoll, Catalunya, Spain. For more information contact The V.I.N.C.E. or view the introduction video below.
If the dirt bike scene is not your cup tea, Big Scale Adventures offer the Twinshock Trailfinder challenge (17/18 June 2019) for bikes with twinshocks. The event is similar to The V.I.N.C.E. but takes place at different time of the year.
