The festival is one of the largest celebrations dedicated to the culture of motorcycles, surfing, skating, and art. The event reunites thousands of like-minded individuals who share a passion and a love of freedom.
Founded in 2008 by a trio of passionate riders, Jerome Allé, Julen Azé, and Vincent Prat – The Southsiders. The experience takes place annually over four days along the French Basque Atlantic coast.
Wheels and Waves aims to eradicate social barriers and bringing different sets of personalities together without judgement. The festival embraces the joy of weaving all sorts of communities, languages and cultures, with a spirit of living today without nostalgia, however, not losing sight of its best moments.
