Vozz Revolutionary Strapless Clam-Shell Rear Entry Motorcycle Helmet
The RS 1.0 is returning to dealers after a long hiatus for updates and European approval.
Vozz Helmets—an Australian company—wants to change how we pull on our helmet. Since its introduction in the 60’s, full-face helmets have saved lives and prevented traumatic brain and facial injury, but in all those decades, the basic design hasn’t changed. Until now.
The traditional helmet can be painful to pull off and on. You won’t get that with the Vozz Helmet RS 1.0. The RS 1.0 is a full face, strapless, rear access, dual locking helmet.
The helmet comes in two parts, connected at the top rear end with a hinge.
To pull on the helmet, you press the locking buttons on the side just below the ear area and a place the helmet over your head. Once in place, you push the rear portion frontward until you hear the locking buttons click.
To pull off the helmet, simply press the locking buttons and pull up on the front portion.
The helmet has an emergency safety release system and fully adjustable chin cup that replaces the old-fashioned chinstrap.
The smaller neck opening allows the helmet to be closer to the chin, thus negating the need for chinstrap and preventing air from pushing in and causing aerodynamic left when at high speeds.
In addition, the minimal neck opening provides better insulation and reduces wind noise.
