Named Cigar of The Year by Cigar Aficionado magazine, the humble Flor de las Antillas began in Cuba, the home of José “Pepin” Garcia. Garcia started rolling cigars at the young age of 11 and rose to prominence in Cuba as a talented cigar-maker. Today Pepin with his son and daughter own and operate My Fathers Cigars which grows its tobacco in Nicaragua and produces the Flor de las Antillas-Toro.
The Flor de las Antillas -Torro is made using various tobaccos wrapper in a leaf grown in the open sunlight.It is a classic smooth smoke with subtle notes of nutmeg dashed white pepper. Cigar Aficionado magazine gave it a rating of 96-point smoke on their 100-point scale and named it 2012 cigar of the year. One of the best values in the world of cigars.
